As I write this post, I have just finished all of my Black Friday shopping and decorating for Advent and Christmas. I already feel the exhaustion of partaking in even a bit of the secular side of the holidays and really am desiring true rest, joy, and hope. I am so incredibly thankful for the wisdom of the Church and our need for Advent to properly prepare in silence, rest, and bareness for the birth of Christ. This is why I am even more thankful for the work of Our Holy Home
