As I write this post, I have just finished all of my Black Friday shopping and decorating for Advent and Christmas. I already feel the exhaustion of partaking in even a bit of the secular side of the holidays and really am desiring true rest, joy, and hope. I am so incredibly thankful for the wisdom of the Church and our need for Advent to properly prepare in silence, rest, and bareness for the birth of Christ. This is why I am even more thankful for the work of Our Holy Home and sacred artists who are making it their mission to keep Christ at the center this holiday season.
Catholic consumers weary of sifting through Christmas card messages and designs that focus more on commerce than faith now have a new option. Catholic Concepts, the creators of the popular Sock Religious line of socks inspired by Catholic saints and figures, has collaborated with sacred fine artists to bring the holiness of Advent to life in a new line of Christmas greeting cards, available through their sister brand Our Holy Home. Beautiful and inspiring religious imagery, including angels, the Star of Bethlehem, and the Nativity, is the focal point in original postcard designs from Catholic artists Elizabeth Zelasko, Jill Elizabeth, and Jana Zuniga.
Featured designs include Jana Zuniga’s Stump of Jesse, Jill Elizabeth’s Peace of Christ, and Elizabeth Zelasko’s Mother and Child. Each design is presented on a unique postcard with a fully customizable back, allowing patrons to add personal photos and messages of faith.
Our Holy Home is a curated collection of Catholic home goods, decor, and Christmas greeting cards designed to build up and beautify the domestic Church. Launched as a division of Catholic Concepts in 2022, their focus on beautiful products goes deeper than aesthetics. “Beauty has the power to draw people in, captivate hearts, and lead them to the truth,” said Cipoletti. “Our cards are meant to reflect the true spirit of Christmas, and we hope they will provide a simple way for families to share their faith, bringing joy and inspiration to all who receive them.”
The “Artist Collaboration line” of Catholic Christmas cards from Our Holy Home is now available, alongside other fully customizable collections, including “Scripture” and “Hymn.”

"O Holy Night" "Stump of Jesse" "Peace of Christ"
I chose the design "O Holy Night" that was a collaboration with Elizabeth Zelasko. I was immediately drawn to the image of Our Lady and Our Lord, snuggling in such a tender moment. As I prepare myself to have birth to a baby boy this Advent, I feel a new closeness with Mary and cannot wait for the newborn cuddles. We truly are called to find Christ in everyone, especially in this season of Advent and Christmastime. He is present in every soul of every human being, if we can only notice it. I also love this card especially because it can be kept on the fridge even past the Christmas season and could even be used as a devotional reminder far past just this year and as a Christmas greeting from our family.
“Every opportunity to share the beauty of our faith with those we love is a grace not to be missed. Sending a Catholic Christmas card may seem simple, yet it becomes a small act of evangelization–a way to place something sacred in the hands of another,” said Zelasko. “I am deeply grateful to partner with Our Holy Home for this very reason.”
As a fine artist and iconographer, Zelasko has been commissioned to create sacred artwork for numerous well-known Catholic institutions, publishers, Churches, and private collectors. “The image in this card collection is one I drew after Bouguereau’s beloved painting– a quiet moment between the Blessed Mother and the Christ Child that speaks volumes of the mystery of Christmas. Anyone who has ever held a sleeping baby knows it is among life’s purest joys. In this tender scene, we are invited to rest with Mary beside her Son, dwell in peace, and remember the true meaning of Christmas: the Word made flesh.”
I was incredibly impressed by the ease of designing, the quality of the cards and envelopes, and the speed in which the order was fulfilled and delivered. I also think it is a plus that the envelopes are included with every order, which is not always the case with Christmas cards! If you are in need of ordering holiday cards, I would definitely consider Our Holy Home. The intentionality of the Advent and Christmas season should shine through everything we do as Christians, even our spending habits and what we give to others. Supporting Catholic artists is a commitment to beauty and to helping to further along the mission of the Church today. Our Christmas cards are a perfect opportunity for evangelization and helping others to turn their eyes to the importance of this season. Know of my prayers for you this Advent and may you experience true rest, peace, joy and hope in the Lord!
